INFORMAL REUNIONS

A mini reunion was held June 7-9, 2024 in Granbury.  It was a huge success!  So much so, that attendees asked not IF we could have another, but WHEN!  Multiple locations  are being considered.

Our next mini reunion will be in Houston on Saturday, March 1 to watch the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Baseball Team BTHO Oklahoma State in the Astros Daikin Park (formerly Minute Maid Park). A ListServ announcement was sent with information on discount tickets to the game and discounted hotel rooms near the park.

Additionally, we have begun a “Back to Class” series in College Station to introduce or reintroduce classmates to some of the hidden gems of Texas A&M.  Space is limited so reservations are on a first-come basis.  The first “Class” was at the Preservation Lab at the library where we saw one of the first Corps uniforms and the signed game ball from the 1939 National Championship team.  The next Class took classmates to BUILD which is a student-run group that converts shipping containers into medical clinics to provide better access to medical treatment and care.
