President Williams told our class during freshman orientation in August 1972, we were the Centennial Class and expectations of what we do, what we accomplish, and what we give back were high.
We started with a bronze statue of an eagle that thousands of students pass every day going to and from classes in front of Sanders Corps Center. Through your generosity, we have established an Endowed Century Membership at the Association of Former Students which supports the Aggie Network, and a Sul Ross Scholarship endowment which has helped support seven Aggies to date with tuition.
The most recent initiative is the biggest and perhaps the greatest and that is The Centennial Class of 1976 Endowment that will live in perpetuity, something never done by any other class.
